The View From My Window

What a difference two weeks makes.  This was the view from my office two weeks ago.

And today:

We had a beautiful fall this year in upstate New York!  From the first pops of color,

to the peak of foliage season,

and on to the end, we have constantly been surrounded by awesomely colored trees and bushes.

I'm hoping Mother Nature will bless us with an equally beautiful winter.  Off to finish raking up those leaves!

  3. Oh nice spam there, Alex - I bet you don't give a rat's a$$ about fall foliage!

Speaking of which - gorgeous pix ... our leaves are about ... overall ... 70-80% gone. The raking has commenced, and people's driveways are lined with compost bags for pick-up :D

In my world, though, an "equally beautiful winter" means one that lasts 3 days and then is gone, never to be seen again :D

  4. Beautiful photos!!! Our deciduous trees change colour, of course, but not with the bright colours of yours.
